williamsburg community blood drive

yesterday, williamsburg church hosted a community blood drive with the new york blood center. we were able to collect 30 pints (one pint per donor) of blood, which Carlos from the blood center said is an excellent quantity for one drive. it was also great just being out and around in the community, meeting everyone, from young artists to retired italians, on the street and showing them in a very tangible way that we love New York, and that it is Christ our Savior that puts that love in our hearts.

the blood drive was very well-received and i’m stoked that we were able to be used by Christ to show love in this way to our community. below are some pictures from the day.

Great job guys!! The poster does look great! The "eager" doners look like they're taking an exam :-)

Dear me, I don't look happy about this day. I tried, but those dashed needles! They fill me with dread.
